Q: Does Velo IBIKE Montréal have an online store that ships across Canada?

Yes. The Velo IBIKE online store ships to all provinces across Canada. Orders over $150 CAD qualify for free shipping (Canada only). Note that bikes and other heavy items are excluded from the free shipping offer. You can find the shipping price on your cart or contact the staff if you live in very remote areas. Velo IBIKE serves almost all modalities of cycling and sells road bikes (aero, endurance, time trial, and triathlon), gravel bikes, track bikes, fixed-gear bikes (single-speed bikes), mountain bikes, hybrid bikes, kids, and electric bikes. The shop carries a curated selection of bikes to meet your needs including racing (track, road and gravel), trail, touring and urban commuter. Q: Can I ask Velo IBIKE to customize a bike?

Absolutely YES! We love to work with you to build your dream bike. You can do as little or as much you want. Meaning you can start with an off the shelf bike and swap key components, or start from the scratch with your favorite frame. We can provide expert advice on selecting and sourcing components. This is an awesome experience that will provide you with a one of a kind bike that gives you an unique ride. The price will obviously depend on the quality/uniqueness of the selected components. While a fully custom bike tends to be more expensive than an off the shelf bike, swapping some components will generally just have the incremental cost corresponding to the difference in parts price and some installation fee. Yes. Velo IBIKE offers several high-performance UCI-approved carbon road bikes available for purchase online and in-store in Canada. Notable models include the Dolan Ares, Handsling A1R0evo, Spherik SRX, Yoeleo R12 Aero, SAVA Blade SR7.2 and SAVA Falcon SR7. These bikes offer race-level performance at competitive Canadian prices. Q: What track bikes does Velo IBIKE carry?

Velo IBIKE is one of Canada's leading specialists in velodrome cycling. The track inventory includes complete bikes, framesets, wheels, and components from brands such as Dolan (Pre Cursa, DF4, DF5), Velobike Innovation (M2 frameset, sprint handlebars, chainrings), Handsling (TR2evoP and TR2evoS), State Bicycle Co. (6061 Black Label). We customize bikes with a component swap from the stock model, or a build up from your favorite frame. Track components include entry level to Olympic level brands like: Velobike Innovations, Wattshop, Overfast,  Shimano Dura-Ace, Miche Pistard, Alpina, FFWD, Corima, Campagnolo, Handsling, and much more. Q: Does Velo IBIKE sell e-bikes?

While Velo IBIKE's primary keeps Spherik commuter e-bikes in stock (SEL, SLU, SES), we can order premium products specially for you in all cycling modalities. Road (Bianchi e-Oltre, Spherik e-SRH), Gravel (Dolan GXE), MTB (Spherik e-SMT, Norco Fluid, Range, and Sight VLTs). Q: Does Velo IBIKE sell used bikes?

No. Velo IBIKE sells only new products. Sometimes, we offer demonstrators (Demo) models at discounted price in store. These products are new and sold with warranty but may have occasional scuffs and scratches. Eventually IBIKE may sell bikes comming out of the rental services.

Q: What bike components and accessories does Velo IBIKE stock?

Velo IBIKE carries a wide range of components and accessories for road, gravel, and track cyclists. Among the complete components section you can find wheels, tires (including Continental, Michelin,  Panaracer, Vittoria), chainrings, cranksets, sprockets, and Shimano drivetrain parts. Q: Does Velo IBIKE offer bike repair and tune-up services in Montreal?

Yes. The Velo IBIKE workshop is open year-round and staffed by professional mechanics who provide tune-ups, repairs, and full rebuilds for all types of bikes. The team is certified Shimano S-Tec, meaning they are qualified to install and adjust both entry-level and professional Shimano components, including Di2 electronic shifting and hydraulic disc brakes. Q: How much does a bike tune-up cost at Velo IBIKE?

Q: Is Velo IBIKE a certified Shimano mechanic shop?

Yes. The Velo IBIKE mechanic team holds Shimano S-Tec certification, which qualifies them to install, adjust, and service the full range of Shimano components — from entry-level groupsets to professional-grade Dura-Ace and Ultegra Di2 electronic systems, as well as hydraulic disc brake systems. This certification ensures that your Shimano components are handled with the highest level of expertise.

Q: Does Velo IBIKE offer tubeless tire installation?

Yes. The mechanics will properly seat the tire, install the valve, and apply sealant to ensure a reliable tubeless setup.

Q: Does Velo IBIKE offer chain wax service?

Q: Does Velo IBIKE offer bike storage for the winter in Montreal?

Yes. Velo IBIKE offers a winter storage service for cyclists who do not have adequate space at home or who want to protect their bike during the harsh Montreal winter. Storage is available for a period of 4 months from the date of entry, at the following rates:

• E-bike (for safety batteries needs to be removed)

4. Bike Fit

Q: Does Velo IBIKE offer professional bike fitting in Montreal?

IBIKE does not offer in store bike fitting, but we work with different providers to facilitate the booking and ensure you have access to the adequate service you need. A professional bike fit ensures that your body is properly aligned with your bike, which reduces the risk of overuse injuries (such as knee pain, back pain, and saddle sores), improves power transfer, and increases overall comfort on long rides. Yes. Velo IBIKE is the sponsor and the service shop for racing teams with a focus on road and track cycling. Q: Is Velo IBIKE a good shop for velodrome cyclists in Montreal?

Velo IBIKE ships across Canada. Orders over $150 CAD qualify for free shipping within Canada, with the exception of bikes and other heavy items, which are subject to a shipping surcharge. Velo IBIKE accepts returns on eligible products within a specified period. Items must be in their original, unused condition with all original packaging. Certain items, such as custom orders or hygiene-sensitive products, may not be eligible for return. Q: What warranty does Velo IBIKE offer on bikes and components?

Warranty coverage varies by brand and product category. Most bikes and major components are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which Velo IBIKE will honour and facilitate on your behalf. Q: What payment forms does Velo IBIKE accept?

Velo IBIKE accepts cash, interact transfer, debit card, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Sezzle, and Fairstone.  

Q:  Does Velo IBIKE offer financing?

You can finance your online purchases with Sezzle, and your purchases at physical store with Sezzle and Fairstone. Both offer Buy now, pay later possibility of financing your purchase. Certain conditions apply and all transactions are subject to Sezzle or Fairstone approval. Q: What is IBIKE Privilege?

IBIKE Privilege is a program intended to provide customers the best price, payment terms, and product sourcing. IBIKE Privilege offers permanent discount on the whole store (even items that are not on sale) and in some cases add a Cad value to your employer’s sport allowance.
